Chief Master Sergeant Meoyskie I. Porter is retired from the United States Air Force. He currently serves as the Senior Aerospace Science Instructor at Mundy's Mill High School. In this position he is charged “to develop citizens of character.” AFJROTC objectives are to:


● Educate and prepare high school cadets in citizenship and life skills
● Promote community service
● Instill a sense of responsibility
● Develop character and self-discipline through education and instruction in air & space fundamentals
● Support the Air Force’s core values of Integrity, Service, and Excellence


Chief Master Sergeant Porter was born in Picayune, MS. Raised in Las Vegas, NV he entered the U.S. Air Force in February 1994. After Basic Training he graduated from the Electronic Warfare Apprentice Course at Keesler AFB, MS, in November 1994. During his career,
he served in a myriad of duties in the Electronic Warfare and Airborne Mission Systems career fields at various stateside and overseas units to include numerous contingency deployments in support of treaty
verification, theater ballistic missile proliferation intelligence, and Operation Enduring Freedom. CMSgt Porter has also served in various roles to include Aircrew Instructor, Technical Training Instructor and Professional Military Education Instructor. In his last active duty assignment, he led and mentored a squadron of 140 assigned and deployed active duty and Air Reserve Component personnel across 11 Air Force specialties providing maintenance support for Pacific Air Forces airlift, bomber, fighter and reconnaissance aircraft. In addition, he led in the planning and execution of force bed-down support for equipment and personnel during US Indo-Pacific Command exercise and real-world regional and global contingency operations.


Prior to his current position, he served as the Aerospace Science Instructor at Sandy Creek High School in Fayette County, and was also the Senior Aerospace Science Instructor at Northgate High School in Coweta County.
